Korean Romance Games: K-Drama Otome and Contract Marriages
The most-rated Korean otome games are Mystic Messenger and Dangerous Fellows: 5,000,000+ installs and more than 400K ratings each on Google Play. If you are after the K-drama contract marriage, go to the contract marriage section: My Forged Wedding is the classic.
Several of the most-installed English otome games on Google Play come from Korean studios, but most are fantasy, zombie or vampire stories whose store pages do not place them in Korea. The first section lists games from Korean studios, or with a Korean voice cast, and says when a story is actually set in Korea. The second covers the K-drama favorite: a marriage, or engagement, that starts as a contract.

How we picked
- Korean games. Made by a studio in Korea, set in Korea, or voiced by a Korean cast. We say which for each game.
- Contract stories. A marriage, engagement or relationship that starts as a deal. We say when it is a close cousin rather than an actual contract marriage.
- Player response. We weighed Google Play ratings and installs, and say when a game is small or has stopped updating.
More by trope: idol, mafia, werewolf and villainess. Fans of Mystic Messenger: see games like Mystic Messenger.
